GIC uses Guardian clinical software platform to keep track of all referrals and patient encounters. All medical notes and interoffice communications are all recorded into one highly secure, HIPAA compliant location. With the click of a mouse and a push of a few buttons, medical staff and legal teams can access a patient’s records and any updates. At the end of treatment, all records and bills will be organized into one comprehensive file saving legal offices TIME and MONEY. Access to the patient’s care plan and notes will be available at anytime to the medical and legal teams. Medical notes are downloaded between 2-5 days after the patient’s visit (allowing time for transcription) so that everyone involved is current. Care coordination notes can be conveniently printed from PDF file attachments or GIC can have them delivered to the office.
